Transting T1 and T2
The transit regime is a customs facility that allows economic operators to transport goods across borders or territories without paying the fees normally due when the goods enter / leave the territory of the Union, thus making the goods subject to only one customs formality . It is an administratively simplified and more economical regime for the transportation of goods through several customs territories.
The transit regime is of particular importance for the Union, which is one customs territory but multiple tax territories: goods can move under the transit regime from the border point of entry to their final destination in the Union. When the transit is completed and the customs and local tax obligations are fullfilled - the goods can be released for free circulation or placed under another special regime.
